What are the words you say when you arrest someone. I know its something like...


i am arresting you on suspicion of murder, you do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence, when questioned something which you will later rely on in court, anything you do say may be given as evidence

Well, that's what was said to me.

This stems for a thing called the Miranda Warning. The warning comes from the States where a bloke by the name of Ernesto Miranda was nicked in 1963 for theft and later rape.
