Ha! Bet you thought I meant ABers ( sorry that’s been done to death)

People who left Soaps and other TV programmes to ‘move on to bigger and better things, but never did ) people like Milandra Burrows ( Emmerdales Kathy )
Can you think of others without googling where they are , that’s much less fun :0)

Julie Goodyear is in talks with Corrie - she may be back.
Andrea was the bouncy, energetic girlfriend of Craig Charles (Lloyd), she broke his heart.
Question Author
Really? I liked her

Is Thelma Barlow still alive ( Mavis ) I wonder ?
Bradley Walsh (Coronation Street) Doing well.
barry, I hope not.Liked her at the time with Alec but I think her character would be a bit overwhelming now. I can't remember how many years ago it was that she left, but I believe she was hoping to go onto better things but I think the best she got was pantomime.
Yes Bobbi she is 90 years old. (just googled it!)
A lot of younger actors go into theatre and do fine, a lot of older ones simply retire.

Sean Wilson (Martin Platt) has a highly successful cheese company.
I agree, Barsel. Bet Lynch was very much of her time. I liked her character then but never thought much of Julie as an actress. I think she very much played a caricature of herself.

Whatever happened to Steve's twin, Andy? In real life, I mean. In Corrie land he is running a bar in Spain
Question Author
Yes Andy, he ( allegedly) threw the towel in when the then scriptwriters wanted a storyline where he had an affair with an underage girl, he apparently read it, tore it up and got his stuff from his locker, never to look back
Question Author
I wonder why they got rid of Andy?
If that's true, Bobbi, good for him.
Question Author
I’m certain I either read it or he was on a chat show saying this
Thanks
So not Andy, it was Martin the cheesemaker
didn't it all go pear shaped for eastenders Martine Mccutcheon?
I find it interesting that generally the women who leave soaps do better than the men, Sarah Lancashire, Angela Griffiths, Suranne Jones, and in Dinner Ladies it was like Corrie in the Canteen.
Chris Quinten from Coronation Street. Went to Hollywood and married Presenter and Actress Leeza Gibbons. Got a blink-and-you'll-miss-him cameo in the original RoboCop movie and then seemed to disappear off the face of the earth.
Question Author
He was always up his own whattsit Steve, he's from your neck ‘o ‘the woods , isn’t he?
Yes 'sox. Another one from Middlesbrough.
