In Fridays episode, Torah was talking about going for an interview for fostering children. She sounded as if this plan has been going on for a while.
But that was the first I had heard of it. I watch every episode and am sure I would have noticed something important like that.
Has anyone heard any thing about it?

I don't recall it being mentioned but time is moving very slowly- it was VE day last week on Corrie- so it may have been mentioned 6-8 weeks ago in the studio but 3-4 months ago on our screens. I know she was trying for IVF a while ago and that failed. I vaguely recall talk of fostering a a few months ago

Apparently Toyah and Imran may put the fostering idea off for a while because of the diagnosis on Leanne's baby

I've not watched Corrie since Ena Sharples was battling it out with Elsie Tanner but all of the links that the nice Mr google can find suggest the storyline is a brand new introduction to the plot. e.g. this is from Friday:

I'm surprised Toyah is with Imran as I missed a bit. The last time I saw Toyah get with ' mean, they were slagging each other off. Lo and behold when I tuned back in, they're living together!!

I remember Toyah trying several times to conceive but because of complications she couldn't have children. When she was with Peter they arranged for a surrogate but sadly that went wrong. The woman miscarried. Then
Toyah hid that fact from Peter and let him think things were ok. I think Toyah intended to pretend the baby that Eva was having was hers but Eva changed her mind after the birth. After that I don't remember what happened next!
