Nowhere in the link does it say that anyone from the BEEB has suggested dropping any of the tunes because of being 'woke'. There is mention of whether or not certain numbers would be able to be performed under Covid 19 restrictions, which is understandable. This traditional music should continue to be played, irrespective of whether there's an audience or not. I have often sat listening to an orchestra playing opera music and like most opera pieces, the tune of Land of hope and glory can stand alone and doesn't need singers or an audience present if the programme is being televised..

Vulcan, I believe there is a restriction on just how many of the usual orchestra musicians will be able to take part and that will dictate which numbers are played. At least, that's how I have read the situation.
