Tv Channel 33 Change

Since yesterday, the guide on my Sony TV has ITV + 1 channel missing from the list .
Channel 33 was ITV + 1 but is now listed as Sony Movies.
I used to be able to switch from channel 3 (ITV) to channel 33 easily, but now 33 is only available as ITV+ 1 on freeview. This means that I cannot view 33 on freeview if if has already been set up to record a proframme.

looking at the TV guide on Sony and there is no channel 34. Channel 33 is Sony Movies, followed by channel 35 Pick then channel 37 Quest.

must be not retuning correctly for you,just keep doing retune several times

It's also 34 on my TV. Do as Hopkirk suggest and re-tune maybe ?

Re tune...it was flagged to me for more than a week on my Samsung that freeview channels would be changing.

Channel 34 on mine, didn't need a retune. Got two channel 48 now.

Update: I have retuned the freeview which is showing all the latest changes. The problem is that I have two remotes, one for freeview and the other for Sony TV . The guide on the Sony TV is still showing 33 Sony Movies. Do I have to retune the TV on the Sony remote also ? Sorry to be a dumbo, but I shall soon be hitting 80 !

Not very technical myself, but yes, if you can retune on Sony as well, I don't see any harm in doing so. Maybe someone else can come on and help you Freya.

If the freeview is showing correct now.Then do a reset on the sony tv using the sony tv remote.Go int settings and finf factory reset

^ Could she not just click on 'retuning'? Factory re-set may be confusing.

I will have to find the manual for Sony TV and follow the retune instructions there (if there are any !) Thanks again

Success ! I retuned the Sony TV remote (as well as the Freeview remote) and channel 34 is ITV + 1 on both. You have all been so helpful. Thanks x
