We don't. By choice. we can watch Netflix, amazon prime, BBC player etc if we really wanted to. But seldom do.

altho on that notes someone on here was talking of the latest BBC drama - sounded good. what was it called? May decide to watch that.

BBC have done some great dramas.

We have 5 TVs. It's the only way I manage to keep the house clean and some food in my fridge :-)
Me!
We have one TV... no live telly, but Netflix, Prime etc. Nobody here is that interested.

Ohhh bobbisox - nope my "rule" when we did have telly in the house was no telly in bedroom!
With the amount of channels we find we watch completely different things.

I don't want to watch sci fi so I send him to our room.
It's only me that ever watches it Eve , Mr B occasionally if there's a match on
i find much to watch on catch up, ALL 4 is doing The West Wing which i am rewatching.
Don’t have a telly.
Watch everything on my iPad Pro. Except BBC because I would have to buy a TV licence and it isn’t worth it.
I have been enjoying ‘The Crown’ via my friends ‘Plex’.

The Queen’s Gambit’ on Netflix was excellent.
The biggest problem with not having a TV is trying to convince the authorities you do not have one. Back in the early 90s, I lived in a house with no TV. I got a letter stating there was no record of a TV licence at this address. I returned it, having filled in the reason I did not require one - I did not possess a TV. After returning 4 such letters over the course of a few weeks, there was a knock at the door one evening. They had come to check there was no TV and proceeded to search my house. Unsurprisingly, they did not find one. I got another series of letters the following year, but I managed to convince them via a phone call that I did not possess a TV.
I hope you don't watch anything as it airs then Sunk, as you still need licence for that, whatever channel it is
We have a big TV in lounge, and one in bedroom but tbh I couldn’t tell the last time the bedroom one was even turned on lol . We like watching similar things luckily - crime dramas, sport, comedies, we don’t watch any of the soaps.....
don't watch live tv and we're struggling to find anything worth recording so wondering why we bother having a tv . . .
Nescio, I found the same when I didn't have a TV from about 18- 22 ish. Although they turned up, but declined to come in and check, when invited to.
They seem better now- i think they understand there are a lot of other choices instead. I got rid of my licence in February... worried about possible lockdown, money, work and knowing I hadn't used it in at least months. I explained honestly to the licensing people what I did and didn't watch. They didn't seem surprised.
ALL 4 have a massive catalogue of box sets, series, worth looking into.
i confess i watch a lot on catch up BBC i player or ALL 4.
I find so much more choice on Netflix, Prime, YouTube... and all of them together are still cheaper than a licence.
