I used to love him comparing Celebrity Family Fortunes Bobbi, he had the right sense of humour for it and was very professional. I reckon he'll shine on Countdown.

Countdown doesn't need a 'personality' host - making the show all about themselves - it's a gently serious quiz where the game is the thing.

It needs a quiet, self-effacing host - I thought Mr Hewer did a pretty good job and will be hard to replace.
