So glad to see this back tonight. They really did well with this show. Showed how traumatic it is for the staff. So sad Noel died though.
Difficult to tell who was who in a lot of cases. Good they had names on visors, that helped a bit.
It was a bit difficult with the flashbacks.
What on earth had happened to Connie face towards the end. She looked like she had gone 10 rounds with Ali!!
I thought it was awful. Have we not had enough of COVID in the last 10 months without a supposedly entertainment programme featuring it? We know there was a lack of PPE, that BAME people were more vulnerable, etc. There have been numerous documentaries, news items, about COVID if we want to know what it’s like for the staff.
Is was inevitable that the BBC would want it to cover covid and show it at its worst. I dont know about anyone else, but the BBC seem to be revelling in it all. They love to show multiple screens of happy people in their living rooms having such fun as though it's no hardship whatsoever.
I agree milo. We havent watched it for a couple of years but decided to give it a go last night for lack of anything else. Don’t think we’ll be bothering again.
