Has anyone watched this programme? Believe they are now on series 8.
I started watching series 1 recently, but some of the characters were so familiar that I think I have watched this before, but not from the beginning. Quite violent and disturbing but riveting at the same time.

As i was watching the final episode of Series 8 a few days back, i began to wonder if i had watched Spiral from the beginning (2006). So i began watching Series 1 and though some of it was quite familiar (Gilou's drug addiction and use of prostitutes) i didn't recall too much of the story line. I have now finished Series 1 and will begin Series 2, possibly tonight. If Gilou does not have a drug addiction in this one, then i must have seen it all from the beginning.

Yes, love it - one of the Beeb's best offerings.
Have only seen series 6, 7 and this current 8 (which is the last ever).
So have got five whole series to look forward to. Yipee!

^You need to speak French fluently, or not mind reading sub-titles (which I know some people avoid).

Have watched from the first series. Good programme as are a lot of programmes on BBC4.
Unfortunately this is the last series.
I enjoy French and Nordic dramas.

Always on the lookout for a good series. Was quite upset when I finished watching all the Montalbano episodes. My Italian was getting quite good after 36 episodes!

Maggiebee - Moltanbano is on next week (but a repeat I think) Yes Spiral is brilliant - watched them all! Watching Rebecca Martinsson on More 4 Walter Presents at the moment!

I've watched most of the WP on All 4. Like tv everywhere, i suppose, some are very good, some good and some downright awful. I pop in every now and then to see if any new ones have been added.

One of my favourites, record every episode.
The only drawback, makes me wonder if much
as I love Paris I would go again.
But there a parts of London I wouldn't dare
venture, likewise Saigon as featured in Serpent.
