Scrolling though channels I came across an old episode and surprisingly found myself laughing out loud. There was one scene that made me pebble dash the screen when they had a robotic model of a pair of legs advertising stockings opening and closing and another model advertising hats going up and down saying 'I like it I like it'- it was hilarious.

You see John Inman without his toupe for the first few episodes, and how the wonderful 'I'm Free' is gradually exagerated into the catch-phrase he carried for life.
I watched every single episode of Hi-De-Hi when they re-ran those, but I have never liked 'Allo 'Allo at all.
John Inman said that never a day went by when someone didn;t shout the phrase at him in the street, but he was gracious enough to accept that it brought him his ongoing career, and he apprarently never objected (out loud at least!)
I also realise how good-looking Wedy Richard was as a young woman.
