As always, Jimmy Carr has been completely honest about the changes to his appearance, happily announcing that he has had a hair transplant, some new teeth veneers and some Botox.

Although he described his pre-adjustment appearance as that of 'a snooker playing vampire', I always thought he went out of his way to create an image of a live ventriloquist's dummy.

Whatever, his new look is much better - anyone agree?

I caught a glimpse of him on 8 out of 10 cats...
I thought there was something "different" about him. He looked odd. Now I know...

don't know or care. If he wants to have work done its fine, its not going to improve his comedy

I always thought that he looked like a Gerry Anderson puppet ( Stingray, Thunderbirds etc ).

I'm more startled at the change in Sandi Toksvig.
I don't know how Jimmy managed to get that work done during lockdown - money, I suppose. He could get veneers when many couldn't get emergency dental treatment.
I don't understand why anyone has invasive cosmetic treatments unless they have suffered some sort of injury or disease or was born with a 'defect' such as a hare lip.

can't say i like his comedy much, so don't know what he has had done, but good luck to him if he feels better about himself -

I often mix him up with Alan Carr - neither of them are worth watching IMV.

He's hilarious. I've seen him at the comedy store a few times. He's the only comedian who has had me in tears of laughter.

And he does look much better.
