Female Pundits On Men’s Football
68 Answers
I wonder how the number of people wanting female pundits on men’s football compares to the number of people who (like me) don’t want them. Are there as many male pundits on televised women’s football? I suspect not, but am prepared to be corrected

Well I am female and a football supporter but I actually came on here to ask exactly the same question! Really find them irritating and whoever thought they were being inclusive has got this one badly wrong.

Have you noticed, Theblip, how many female presenters front coverage of sports events like major golf tournaments, tennis and even cricket?
Why shouldn't female pundits appear on the television? Perhaps one idea is to get more female viewers interested?
Why don't you try emailing the Radio Times letter page with your sexist comments there?
Personally I couldn't care less if pundits are male or female as I won't watch the fest of wall-to-wall football, but then again I didn't post a thread about that.

All football pundits are a complete waste of time and, if they're getting paid, then it's money for old rope. It really is. Some of them can't even speak properly, recent examples being:
"...he has the abilee to do that"
"...he couldn't take that opportunee"
"...I didn't think that was a penawee"
I suppose it's better than working for a living, so I'd definitely do it if I could get away with it as much as they do.
Having said all that, I watch the live games with the sound turned off, and at half time I'll make a brew, switch channels or nip to the corner shop. Other than that, I suppose they're ok. Hey ho!
