There are two families and six children involved. I felt sorry for his wife when the paparazzi were in her face yesterday. I know this happens, but he had double standards. People are tired of being in lockdown, given hope of a holiday, then have it snatched away.

I gain no pleasure in the fact he has resigned, and even less from the fact that two families have been destroyed by his actions, but it's the right decision. He was terrible at his job and clearly believed himself immune from the regulations he laid down for the rest of us.
