Anne Cleeves is a lovely lady who I have met twice. She is a great advocate of public libraries and always urges her audiences to join one. Her mantra is "use it or lose it".

I always enjoy this, but it irks me that their are virtually no Shetland accents heard. Only Steven Robertson, who plays the policeman Sandy, has one - he was brought up there.

ginge, I don't think luck has much to do with it - she works hard writing great books that make very popular tv series.
