Getting the public vote or rather the old lady vote

That's the problem with having the public voting on a dance competition. It should be just the judges, the public don't know anything about ballroom dancing.

except maybe the many millions who have done it, ball room dancing is alive and well.

That’s the problem.I have to say I quite like him on Breakfast TV but being objective that was not dancing.

no it wasn't dancing, more walking and running.....

all the others make a good fist of dancing, especially, John and Johannes, they make it look easy which it obviously isn't.

Some, shall we say, less than able celebrities have been kept in longer than perhaps they should in the past. About now the weaker dancers will go leaving the stronger ones to fight it out. It is an entertainment programme, not a general election so should be viewed as such.

The vote isn't for best dancer, it is for the voters' favourites. That's how the likes of Anne Widdecombe almost made it to the final.

The same point is made every year by disgruntled viewers but it won't change.

I much preferred the early series when the 'celebs' didn't spend weeks have dance lessons as soon as they signed up for Strictly.
