Sick And Tired Of......

Kate Garraway.
Yes it cant be easy and we sympathise BUT:
She is milking the situation with "poor Derek" to the nth degree.
I am sick of the TV coverage that she has in GMTV , her documentary of Derek, her interview with Piers Morgan and now her book. Not to mention the awards she has been given.....how many other wives have been given an "award" for looking after their sick husbands?
Daily Mail has pages and pages of her life with Derek.
He managed to get to the Pantomime and photographed her following his "health scare" on Christmas Day.
Just had enough.

I've just googled her and discovered her award was for her TV documentary, awarded by The National Television Awards. From your post I thought she'd been given an official award by the government or Queen.
She also got an award for 20 years in broadcasting by the Television and Radio Industries Club. Hardly the George Medal.
Maybe you'll feel better if you change your choice of media information and television viewing

Yes she's had a bad time, and so have thousands more. But I think its about time she put a lock down on her ups and downs now and became a bit more sensitive to people who are in the same position, but without the massive GMB / radio salary. If she is struggling with being the only breadwinner, and I doubt that, then downsize and reduce outgoings like everyone else.
