What Am I Missing?

I was in a downtown newsagents this morning and noticed lots of sandwiches, wraps, and Pot Noodles. I guess they'd be bought as lunch by local office workers.
Never in my life have I ate a Pot Noodle. What have I missed?

not a lot
not just office workers but builders too - as they are quick and filling and hot on a cold day

Mr Red used to love them in his student days - soon beat that out of him though! disgusting things but they actually smell better than they look or taste
I have the occasional Bombay Bad Boy (hot hot hot) with buttered bread to dip in. Guilty pleasure.
All I can think of is salt...oh, and artificial flavouring. Well...artificial everything.
Not that bad, Pasta:

I'll not change the habits of a lifetime and continue giving them a miss.
I can only go by those I've tasted or smelled...I'm a very sensitive type you know ;)

like you Sandy I had never had one - then tried - they are repulsive as there is absolutely no flavour - not even of the actual noodle itself. I honestly don't see what people see in them. Naturally I never bought them again.
Noodles never have flavour, its the sauce that have flavour

Except Tripe. And Bombay Duck.

Red Helen, I don't know about that. I've never eaten snails and have no intention of trying them.
I've never had lobster, either. I was once seated beside a tank of them in a restaurant and watched one making frantic attempts to escape.
It wasn't trying to escape, it was trying to get to the kitchen to fulfil its existence!
Like ZM I am particularly partial to the odd Bombay badboy, especially at this time of year when my chillies and coriander are coming through. Add some of those chopped and fresh with some homemade chicken tikka and Bobs your Uncle. :-)
