Why celebrate a country that prefers a neighbouring country that has attacked it three times in recent years but has very little appreciation for one that helped bail it out twice.

well the Froggies are
France Antair - and France-24 has the parade
about 50 with an oompah band marching down from the Arc de Triomphe to Place des signes de something

along with a bagpipe band ( bagad) - and the Svelte French commentators were falling over themselves to explain what a haggis was. And they had these things ( haggises and bagpipes) in England....

and frankly the trooping of the colour was much better
