Am I wrong in thinking that the judging process used to take a lot longer than the 10-minute segment we were shown last night?
I'm sure the judges were shown discussing the photos for at least 3 episodes before the final 12 photos were selected. It all seemed a bit of a shoe in yesterday

I thought that too Barry, unless we only saw it when it had been whittled down to prospective winners. So many talented photographers out there.

I know art / music / photographs are subjective to each persons taste but I'm pretty sure there were better photographs than the 12 the judges picked.
