The premier was today in Leicester Square and it airs on Prime on Friday :o)

We're only two episodes in with House of the Dragons so can't really expect everything to happen at once. I'm sure it will pick up as it goes along.

'The Lord Of The Rings' is one book I never managed to finish, although I enjoy a bit of a connection - Professor Tolkien's oldest son John, for whom the 'Christmas Letters' were written, was our parish priest, and married my wife and I.

In the 1970's Tolkien was a massive part of the latent hippy trend in my peer group growing up, but I never got with the programme at all.

I have never seen Game Of Thrones, which I may like, but not having Sky, I have not had access to it, but will give it a try when it becomes available on another platform.

I read The Hobbit and LOTR trilogy when I was young.

I think the Rings of Power may have an element of The Silmarillion storyline to it. I haven't read that one.

First airing for each episode is Mondays, 2am on Sky Atlantic, Naomi. Its in line with the US airing. Then later at 9pm.
