Did You Know....

Haven't seen a 'did you know' for a while, started by TTT I think, so here is one.

Only recently found this out but Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle are sisters and they also have a sibling called Peggy Sue! My dad was a big fan of Crystal back in the day and although I'm not a big fan of country music I do like some including 'don't it make my brown eyes blue'.

Did you know in the film Aliens when Helen Ripley and Newt are trapped in the Medical room... the scene with the face-huggers was filmed running backwards, hard to notice that the water droplets from the sprinklers Ripley set of are actually going upwards.

Kyu Sakamoto had a big hit with Sukiyaki back in 1963

But it has nothing to do with sukiyaki, the US releasing company thought it was the only Japanese word listeners would know. In Japanese it was called I Look Up As I Walk. An American paper said this was like releasing Moon River in Japan under the title Beef Stew.
