Can anyone answer this. I am 52, and watched Grange Hill back in the day. I seem to remember that Zammo died of drugs. And his last appearance is listed as series 10 in 1987. However, just watched the last episode of series 10, and he's still alive and well. How can this be? If he died (and according to the internet he did, so my memory is correct) how can he still be alive in his last appearance on the show? Doesnt make sence!

Really? Google seems to say he did, which confirms my memory. However, thats why I'm asking. I suppose you all must be right, as he's still alive at the end of series 10.

Zammo was an addict, but I don't think he died in the show.

odd, in my memory he died (i'm 48) too, i can recall to mind him half sitting half lying on the floor after choking on vomit (i thought) dead

I remember the scene of him lying on the floor but I don't recall him dying. I'm 51...
