ERKAN MUSTAFA (Roland Browning)
Erkan played Roland Browning for six years and turned him into a true TV icon. Suffering from horrific bullying at the hands of Gripper Stebson, by the time he left Grange Hill six year later Roland was able to stand up for himself and had discovered a talent for foreign languages. Erkan, meanwhile, went on to star in two series of Lenny Henrys sitcom Chef! as well as several episodes of Black Adder. Erkan unfortunately suffered a heart scare in 2004, but is now back in good health. He continues to act occasionally and along with Lee MacDonald (Zammo), recorded an interview for Radio One (see pictures), as well as attending a Just Say No reunion
