Is this series much easier than the first?
I fell at the 1% question, still had my pass and my wife sailed through all of them.
I'm not enjoying this series as much, no real challenges

Haven't watched it yet but looking forward to seeing it

Let me know how you get on, Ellie.
Will do , barry
I don't watch the programme but can't see how a programme can have no real challenges when you failed at the first 1% question.

The 1% question is the final and hardest question
roopower, the 1% qn is the last one and the most difficult
Ah, OK, thanks for telling me. I might give the programme a look.
Can you use your pass on the last question?
I think the questions are only easy if your brain works the way it needs to. Mine instantly went into lockdown at the question with musical notation, then it suddenly clicked - it wasn't what I'd assumed it to be, which is what they play to.

Last season usually saw me caught out at some point, but I'm like Mrs Barry, sailed through the 3 episodes this series.

I was very pleased for the young lad, he came across as a very personable chap & I hope the party goes well :-)

No you can't, Hopkirk :D
Question Author
Yes, I was really happy for him too
barry, I agree that the qns seem easier this time but might it be because we've got used to thinking more logically? BTW, I ran out of time on the 5% qn (vowels in months), I used my pass on another one and didn't solve the 1% one. Most of the others were really easy but I still enjoyed it as I love Lee Mack

It's a perfect Saturday evening show, ellie. We don't normally watch mainstream tv on Saturdays, nothing appeals, so this is a welcome highlight.

The question that really made me laugh this week was 'what three letters appear in every day of the week?' It took a few seconds to drop and I had to laugh because it was so blooming obvious.
Yes, it was really obvious, barry, also the one where London was the only city.
Question Author
Yes! I was tutting at that one :D
It's surprising how many didn't read the qn properly and focused on the Olympics instead
Question Author
LIK, I agree with you, it's how your mind works and there's not much you can do about it.
Same with cryptic crosswords
