I don't like heights, barry, and confess it is 'hairy'. I had to keep reminding myself that I was sitting on a sofa with feet on the ground. :o)

That said, I really enjoyed it.

I'm watching it now just up to the bit where the upper ladder falls away! It's great but no one would ever climb like that. You'd do it in pitches not roped together like that where you'd pull each other off if one fell. The tower is easy, there's a kin ladder for gawd sake. So you climb a rope worth loop the rungs with slings. Then bring up the second, who takes off all the slings, then repeat. More later!

Perlease these are supposed to be experienced climbers they don't even seem to have a descender between them! I love the premise and the suspense and the thupneys but seriously? any 9 year old boy scout would get out of this because they'd have the basic equipment minimum that any climber has at all times.

why did she not prusik up the bit with light? of course it's moot really as most 9 year old scouts would have been home singing ging gang gooly by this stage but I'm loving the film!

TTT, you could be over-thinking this a bit. Everest it wasn't. With stairs all the way they had good reason to leave their specialist climbing equipment at home.
