How and why did Stephen get a Streetcars taxi  back to Weatherfield all the way from Liverpool Airport?

Just one among a number of laughable aspects of Friday's episode.

I couldn't stop laughing at David last night, great acting from J P Shepherd (by the way what's happening with his hair)

We laughed a few times at David too,Margo. I believe he had a hair transplant a couple of years ago, I think I'd want my money back if I was him!

Was it a Streetcars taxi Brainiac? If so I missed that- I thought Peter had put the word out about Stephen with other cabbies including some from other taxi firms.

Trying to work out how long Tim has been in the boot of the taxi and also why the taxi has not been missed by anyone from Streetcars.

Also, we saw Stephen douse the taxi with petrol - so why was it not set alight?

Just loved the way David kept saying 'charged' every time anyone said they hoped Stephen would be 'found'

I'm not convinced Tim will survive Ellie, but I hope so Sally and him are so great together

Well Tim was still alive in the boot last night and he doesn't get mentioned amongst those who are leaving Corrie.  So I presume he remains in Corrie.  I hope so.

The police helicopter flew overhead just as Stephen was going to set fire to the car. It was in response to the body found in the canal.

David is one of the best characters in Corrie

I coud t take it seriously last night, at times it was like a comedic farce.

That's the way it is heading, Sharon.  I think the stress will bring on a fatal heart attack, or he will get blinding drunk and die from liver failure.

He's alive at the moment but still locked in the boot of a car. Lots of stuff on line saying he's left, and pictures of him now with a full beard. Guess we'll have to wait and see hopefully he does survive

Steve, Eileen and Co dont appear to be worried about the missing taxi, cant they trace it somehow? 

If i was walking my dog in the woods and saw the abandoned taxi i think i would have called the huge number on the roof to ask them if they knew it was there?
