4 more sleeps till Christmas!

nipped out to get coal and logs etc yesterday and everything was mad!

Final shop being done on saturday morning at 6am - then I will not go near a shop till January 3rd!!!

In fact I doubt we will even drive anywhere at all - we will use the fields to exercise the hounds so win win - although I am working between Christmas and New Year.

Good morning Red! Dark, great and miserable here again! I mean the weather, not me lol. Yesterday was busy - after still being unable to remember my PIN number and waiting for a new one to arrive, I managed to drive to a branch of my bank and go in & take out cash over the counter with my card & I.D, thank god. Then, seeing as I was unable to get a home shopping delivery slot, and I didn't realise just how far in advance you have to book it, I went into the Sainsburys behind the bank. Not a particularly large store, but really lovely staff etc..... bought enough stuff for just us two this week, a little Xmas Eve buffet for  two, and Boxing Day......... all the nonsense we don't usually buy lol. Oh well, it's just once a year hey! x

Morning, just getting ready to go to the QEH,  blood tests, and pick up hand splints.  When I get back going to Asda with an elderly lady from the block as she can't see too well.  Then this evening Carol concert on the local green  From then on its stay home and get over a cold I brought back from London.   Back to wearing a bloody mask for everyone elses sake.   Lemsip with brandy seems to help

I'm doing my final (hopefully) food shop this morning. The local market yesterday was heaving.

And like Red I will not be going back to shops before January!

Good morning Red and others 😊Gale blowing up here and has done all night - no sleep till 03.15 so lucky have nowhere to go today.  Toothache seems to come and go so hoping this does not escalate over holiday period.  Good wishes to everyone. x

Good Morning all. Looks grey outside...I'm at my daughter's in London. Have been here since Sunday evening. Haven't been out at all. They are both working from home...I've got a badly strained back. Managed to put it out on Friday. ☹😣. It's been heating pad +ice pack.
