I like 'thrillers' so I quite fancied this new series until I read a scathing review and that put me off.  

 

Is it worth watching?

We enjoyed it Naomi. Maybe a little far-fetched at times but you forget that, as its so compelling. Worth a watch. Oh, and Richard Armitage's voice is so beautiful. He could read me a bed time story anytime! 😃

I have noticed big holes in the plot (like we have no extradition treaty with China, so he, or his 3 colleagues wouldn't have been detained, let alone marched into a little room by the passport people and put on the same plane back to China!), but then, we wouldn't have had a story.  Neither would a little dog be allowed to wander about the plane either.  The pilot seems to spend more time walking about the cabins than flying.

Allowing for that, I am enjoying it, especially Richard Armitage.

I watched the first one on itv then binged watched the rest on itvx. Really enjoyed it but you do have to suspend belief at times.

Not like me not to give a new series a chance but i packed in after about a half hour.

Whether i just wasn't in the mood or whether it was the stilted dialogue, i don't know. Perhaps both. Don't think i'll be returning to it anytime soon.
