Many thanks.

Yes u can, press record and then go to sky plus planner, you can record two at the same time watch one of them live or watch something already recorded and still record two others
Yes just choose the record option for the show you want to record and it will go into your programme planner.
You can then watch the other one while this wonderful machine magically records the first show.

A wee tip, I have often pressed the delete button when accidentally highlighting the wrong show in my planner and delted something I haven't watched yet. Now I press the blue keep button for everything which means you have to enter your security code before deleting. A bit of a faff but I don't lose anything now!!!!!!
Its handy when your husband works for sky,at least i get any problems sorted out, yeah right!
Waiglet - How do you set it to enter a security code before deleting please? Mine just asks me to press select to confirm
PAWSABELLE wants
sorry went nuts there I regularly record two things at once and watch something else off the hard disk - previously recorded or from terrestial. PAWSABELLE asked about the security code I fell into this by accident but seems o mch off a faff to me. When you move your arrow over the programme you want to select instead of presasing the blue button keep - you press the right arrow once and the option in blue come up lock/unlock and if you lock it you must enter your pin to unlock again
