Open Water - SPOILER ALERT

Just watched this on Sky and have a couple of questions. Near the end, when morning comes after the night in the storm they are both there but he appears dead and she's crying. I turned away for a second and when I looked back he had gone. Did she let him go? Also at the end did she kill herslf of was she pulled under by a shark? Cheers

Hi, i watched this film - thought it was absolute rubbish but anywho....

she lets him go, as he is too heavy for her and his blood is attracting sharks!!

sorry but i can't remember the answer to your other question... i think she was eaten by a shark!! but i am not entirely sure!! hope this has helped!!

Sorry to disagree I thought it was quite good and watchable. What a way to go its supposed to be based on a true story. Wonder if any charges were brought to the boat company that left them there in the first place ?

hi i also hated this film- made me feel sea sick all that bobbing up and down!!! yes she let him go beacause he was dead... and then she ttok her oxygen off and drowned herself so she didnt have to be eaten alive... but the twist was that if she had stayed bobbing around in the water for just a bit longer she would of been spotted by the helicopters and survived...sod's law really!!!!! hope that helped! x
