Hi ppl,

Does anyone know what the relevance of the comic book has that Walt found on the beach?

When I watched the recap on the 2nd season the magazine is blurred out! Why?

Also the magazine has polar bears in it. Do you think the island feeds on fear? Remember Jacks Dad?!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this!

there are 2 links to the comic book that relate directly to Walt. One is the polar bear that seems to be lifted straight out of the comic, and the other is the black ghost like thing that swooped down over the beach before the engine exploded in the first episode. Incidentally, the first and last words in series one were "walt" so maybe he's quite pivotal... (having watched most of series 2 I couldn't possibly say!)
The comic belonged to Hurley first and its my feeling that they are all living each others fantasies
