a film about a flying boy...?!

hey guys im trying to remember a film that i saw when i was little, im 20 now so it was a few years ago. it was on tv, about a boy who couldnt talk but he could fly, or thought he could fly? at the end he managed to say 'i love you' to the girl who was friends with him. i remember him sitting on the roof in a storm at some point too. does this film actually exist or was it a dream?! thanks!

It was called The Boy who could Fly, funnily enough I was talking to my sister about it the other day! I remember that his parents died in a plane crash and at the end him and the girl went flying over the town (Peter Pan style)

wow i remember this. it was brilliant. he was also bullied and used to try and outrun the bullys around the block. a bit crap really.
