What happened at the end of New Tricks last night?I missed the last 5 minutes,frustrating or what?

The school head confessed to blackmailing the dead woman because she was besotted with the male prostitute. On the day she died, the head had phoned her to tell her it was her who had been blackmailing her. She drove to where the head was and tried to kill the both of them by driving at her, but only got it 50% right. The programme ended with Amanda Redmond going to the hubby to apologise. Apparently, the reason he'd canceled the foreign holiday was because he'd told the missus about it a few days they were due to go and she said she couldn't bear to be away from the stud for two weeks.
