Hello Everyone,

A few years back I watched a movie on TV "Bankoff Hilton Starring Nicole Kidman . In the movie she was framed and sent to a prison called Bankoff Hilton . She was from Austria but in London trying to find her father . This is where she meets a Drug Smuggling low life man named Alfie . He looks for young ladies traveling alone . Then quickly makes friends and start date . To show his affection he buys them a camera . But before the lady gets the camera . Alfie fills the bottom full of drugs . Then he conviences the young lady to spend a few days with hin flying somewhere else . When they get to the airport . He tells her he going to get in another customs line so they will get through faster . He goes far enough away where he still see if she makes it through with the camera .But far enough away if things go wrong . Nicole Kidman plays the part of the girl . When she is arrested and taken to court . The court don't believe she is innocent so they send her to prison and she is to be put to death before a firing squad . Meanwhile she dosen't know one of the lawyers helping her is her father . I have looking for this movie to buy it . I searched Goggle , no help . If you know where I can buy this movie please let me know . I'm starting to wonder if anyone has seen this movie other than myself .

To think so many people that don't know me are so caring . I have been so lonely . since breaking my back May 17th 1995 .It seemed everyone I knew disappeared. I have found a link on imdb about it for you and nb1 s right it was a mini-series. I remember it as I always have enjoyed Nicole Kidman. It caught my attention because in the 1980's before this came out, two British girls were caught upin something like this. I can't remember the rest of it. They were in Thailand, Bangkok and the prison they were sent to is known as "The Bangkok Hilton", it's ironic becqause the conditions there were horrendous. It was on the news continually at that time and eventually the British government got involved as I think it wasa case of mistaken identity or being gullible and naive. It was right at the start of peole conning others into carrying drug-filled bags.

sorry to hear about your accident. I was unwell myself last year and was off my work for 8 months. It's very isolating but through the net you can chat to people thousands of miles away.

Thank you so much for your help , Isn't it scary to think something like that can really happen . Just going to a foreigen country . You really have to be careful who you make friends with when you travel .The way things are now you even have to be careful with the friends you make at home .It's such a shame to have to always have to be on guard . There was a man from here the States that got caught in almost the same thing as Nicole Kidman did in the movie . His name was Billy something , I can't seem to recall his last name . But anyway the had him in prison for over 7 years . When he did finely get away and made it back home to the States . They did a movie about everything he went through while locked up in prison . Believe me you need a box of kleenex while watching it . The name of the movie Is "MIDNIGHT EXPRESS" . If you want to see 2 excellant movies try these 2 you will love them both . "The Straight Story" and "Cross Creek" . I can watch both of these over and over . They are good family films . I let you go for now . Thanks again for your help .
