In last thursdays episode of The Street I recognised one of the actors from being in something else and its really annoying me where I know him from. He was the actor who played the bloke who fancied the girl in the factory, he worked there too, I don't know his name it was a small part.

you mean the one who was playing cards with them in the social club - who got 'accused' of sucking up to the foreman... he did not become the foreman - but he did direct the lorries when Stan went back to ask for his job back - sorry can't find his name but it is not the person who plays Neil (the whiskey seller) this link has the info - but not on the person you are looking for - (will check tonight as it is on NTL on demand - so can watch it again for you!) as it is bugging me as well :-)

The link doesn't work! Im not sure if its the same guy your talking about, he is youngish and he has brown hair with a long fringe and he was there when they were all playing cards, the one that was with the busty woman!

if you go onto the BBC website BBC.co.uk and do a search on the street, there is a great page with all the actors who are in the Street. I've just been on and i think the one you mean is the one who was abusing his wife the week before last. He was in Life on Mars but has been in lots of other stuff including Hustle, early doors, clocking off and a few more. Maybe where you know him from. i am glad you asked this question cause i just found out the gorgeous Lip from Shameless is gonna be in it! Can't wait!

No , lola jax doesn't mean that guy (Lee Ingleby). She means a guy in the factory where Jim Broadbent worked who kept flirting with the busty girl both in the factory and at Jim Broadbent's retirement party. Unfortunately he's a more moinor character and isn't mentioned in the BBC webpage.

What you could do lola jax is go through the cast names on IMDB. co.uk and hope something rings a bell.

i'm getting confused cause i thought that was the same guy. Must have been tired when watching. Actually thought it was a bit boring last week. In the end i just thought, get on with it if you're gonna do it! bit strung out.IMDB is the best website to find out but you've got to get a name. He probably won't be in it again now. They don't do full cast on new programmes. I wanted to find out someone from Life on mars and struggled. Got it by going all round the houses in the end.

No I don't think so, I never watch the bill so I deffo don't know him from there either! How annoying if I only knew his name then I could imdb him!

lola jax, if you imdb 'the street,' you get a cast list, just keep clicking on the names and see if you recognise anything you think they might have been in, then google whoever you think it might be in images. Thats what i'd do. Good luck but you must let us know cause its driving me mad now. lol

lola jax.... as promised I have watched it again and he plays the part of COLIN and looking at the credits at the end that part is played by MARSHALL LANCASTER - he was in Life on Mars!

Thanks Peat bog! I didn't know him from life on mars but you gave his name so I was able to have a look on imdb. I think I know him from an episode of Clocking Off where he featured in a story and his brother was played by Lee Ingleby who is also in The Street.
