Why oh why do we get subjected to end credits being suddenl;y "shoved over" to one side of the screen (so as they are un-readable) in order that a trailer for a completely different programme can be shown?! Dream Team is a prime example, but by no means the only one!
Personally, I often wonder "oh who was such and such - I'll look in the credits", etc, but then when the credits come up...........AAARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

The TV companies know that they lose a high percentage of their audience between shows.
If they leave the credits running they know people will get bored and use the remote control to move to another channel.
I must say that the way TV is going at the moment with long advert breaks, constant adverts for future programs, talking over the ends of films, poor quality programs etc they are likely to start losing their audience altogether.
oooh I agree on this one SurreyGuy, it's one of my pet hates !!!!
it's not that I always want to read the credits but sometimes, if it's been dramatic, sad, or even really funny I want to savour it for a few seconds at least before something else is thrown at me. It's actually those trailers that make me use the remote not the credits. Maybe we should complain more to the tv companies?
vhg - you're right, I (& my friends & family) watch far less tv nowadays.
