What are some of the most romantic moments in film?

I like Love Actually where Andrew Lincoln is holding up the written cards to Keira Knightly. Brilliant.

Yes. Watch the French film "Love Me If You Dare" (or Jeux d'enfants) and see what you think. :o)
My favourite romantic is The Notebook.
Pretty Womans quite a cool one too.
true romance
while u were sleeping, when sandra bullock opens her heart up to the family at the wedding makes me cry everytime. I agree with notebook too!!

When Maid Marion turns to Robin Hood (Kevin Costner) and says 'Would you do that for me' and he says 'Id die for you' My god, I've gone all breathless......

'Elvira Madigan' for me.

The bit in the English Patient when he's carrying her to the cave in a manly fashion and realises she's wearing the necklace he bought her and she says something about always wearing it because she's always loved him and he breaks down because she's dying...sob

Like Reenie, The English Patient scene mentioned. There are in fact numerous times in that film, that give me goose bumps.

Also, when Robert De Niro has the restaurant opened just so he can take Elizabeth McGovern to dinner, and has the band play Amapola, which she used to dance (ballet) too. That beautiful music does it for me every time!!

It might help if I told you the film LOL

Once Upon A Time in America !!

Some great answers. I guess I have to watch english patient then

I love True Romance at the beginning where they meet in the cinema and go to the comic book store.

Just about everything Mark Darcy does in either of the Bridget Jones movies, he is without a shadow of doubt the most appealing romatic character ever written/portrayed.

50 first dates is pretty romantic the whole way through..I liked that a lot.

Gotts get it in "Nobody put baby in the corner"

a couple that spring to my mind are Dirty Dancing "nobody sits baby in the corner" and he whisks her off to dance in a spectacular way, also an Officer and a gentleman, at the end where he carrries her off. Yanks is one of my all time favourite romantic films too and the ending is so sad when the trasin pulls out the station. I could go on, there are so many.
I love the scene in the boat when Bing Crosby & Grace Kelly sing True Love. Errr can`t remember the film`s title. Doh.
... An Officer and A Gentleman ...when richard gere goes to the factory and scoops up debora winger into his arms..and that music is playing..and he's so sexy and young in that uniform... ... gets me every time...

Ladyhawke where Navarre and Isabeau are in the pit at dawn and almost manage to touch. (You need to know what the film is about to get it but if you don't, you're much better off seeing the whole film without knowing what is coming).

Somewhere in Time: When Elise delivers the soliloquy in the play to Richard, rather than the audience.

beejaybee, that's High Society.
Thanks Narolines. Old age does n`t come alone. lol
Cary Grant rescuing Ingrid Bergman in Notorious.
