Does anyone know anything about the theme music from this excellent 1980s cartoon series? Was it written for the show or was it an old tune? The reason I ask is that on Monday night's Holiday programme they played this music while Jilly Goolden was in the bath on a trip to Andalucia and it seemed an odd choice.

The only thing I can tell you John, is that the music was written by Tony Kinsey, more than likely just for the programme. He's an incredibly gifted jazz musician and composer of just about everything!!

Just realised I added an H to your name - sorry!

Cheers Cetti. I almost wonder if that choice of music for the Holiday programme was some sort of in joke. Seemed somehow incongruous.
I remeber it well.Have you tried looking on WWW.TV.CREAM.ORG.They have got downloadable theme music from absolutely loads of tv programmes.
It's also available on a TV themes album called 'Hello Children Everywhere' published by BBC music.

Thanks, but I don't want a copy of the music. Just wondered how it turned up on Holiday and whether it was better known than I realised.
