The story of the film is lossly based on the life of 70's porn legend John Holmes, who boasted a prodigious todger, reckoned at anything from 10 - 13 inches! It did him no good - he became a crack addict, got mixed up in some serious drug dealing and was witness to a number of gangland murders when a drugs exchange he was involved in went bad. Holmes finished up living in a car and stealing luggage from airports to survive. Holmes was reckoned to conservatively estimated liasons with 14,000 women, and a large number of men as he did loads of gay porn before he became famous. John Holmes was a legend and a star, feted by successful Hollywood stars and business people who paid massive ammounts for his private services. Despite having made millions of dollars, Holmes was peniless when he died of AIDS on March 13 1988.
