Although I have completed all I can this month, with the invaluable help of ABer's, there are a few questions in the "last ten" outstanding. This is an area where I do not normally venture but it is used as a tiebreaker
Q114 In 1975 it was 24 hours.1976 saw a bird allied to the snipe and 1981 saw a famous Irish dramatist. In 1998 it was a war poet, whilst 2002 saw the upstairs family and 2004 a rather stiff chaffeur. So who was it in 2005?
Q115 One might assume that this island was named after a famous virgiv-not so apparently. It's name derives from the Norse for pasture and headland, which fairly obviousy, only applied to a bit of it originally but spread to encompass the whole island with the addition of another word, presumably to match others in the group-which group?
Q117 Which famous British author reputedly said that he always chose to sail on Fench ships as "there's none of that nonsense about women and children first"?
Q120 You'd be quite close to the prize if you intersected two lines, the first from the graves to the Cape of the Woods and the second fromSpyglass Hill to which island?
I think the last question has something to do with Treasure Island but I cannot prove it
Many Thanks
