I love the one when Ross and Rachel are on the balcony and Ross is about to tell Rachel he loves her but he gets attacked by the cat that turns out to be Paolo's cat ..And the Turkey on the head one ..AND Joey's Porsche

Phoebe - 'Joker is poker with a J. Coincidence?'
Chandler - 'Hey, that's joincidence with a C!'

I literally have tears running down my face and im getting very wierd looks from people accross the office!

As everone has said there are so many but I love :

When Ross finds out about Joey and Rachel and invites them for dinner - he cries and says : It must be the pressure of entertaining - hilarious epoisode!
When Joey puts all of Chandlers clothes on and does lunges!
When Ross is preparing his speech for Barbados and they tell him he must keep eye contact with them!
Ross and rachel sleep together and Ross says "we were on a break" then rachel kicks him our saying "we are soooooo over", Ross pretends to cry and then shouts "fine by me!"
(as you can tell I LOVE Ross!!)
and the one that always nearly makes me choke from laughing,
The film of them getting ready for the prom and the shot goes to Ross who is standing by the fire with big hair and a tash, absolutely hilarious!

Where the girls lose their apartment to the boys.

"The Irish jig guy?!"
"His legs flail about as though independent from his body!"

Ross tosses the coin and they all look excitedly at it then up at him. "Okay... this time, somebody call it."

Rachel yelling the categories. "We'll take literature!" "IT'S ALL RELATIVE!" And when she says the guys should get rid of the chicken AND the duck: "What did the duck do?" "Ah, he gets the other one all riled up!"

Plus, in that episode, Monica is possibly at her absolute cutest, with the short hair with clips in and her red top. Oh, man!

Aniston's delivery is so good at times. I love the bit where they're getting a tattoo and Phoebe's yelling at her: "Is the Ross the boss of you?" "no...." "Well, who IS the boss of you?!" "Er... you are?" My partner can't work out why I find this so funny but when Rachel's at a job interview and the guy says "You should know, this interview is being videotaped" she smiles uncertainly and does this quick little look around for the camera. I don't know why I find it hilarious either, but I just do!

I'm so glad no-one's picked the London episode yet - one of the worst episodes not just of Friends, but of any sitcom, ever. I also hate the clip shows, of which there were far too many.

Ah, its good to see there are so many other people who love 'Friends' as much as I do! It seems I'm not the only one who knows all the quotes! lol!

I couldn't possibly pick ONE favourite one tho because every time an epiode comes on the TV I'm like - ah i love this one!

A lot of my faves have already been said, but a couple more are -

TOW the lottery (where they all pitch in and buy tickets for the lottery - surprisingly enough!) - there are so many good one liners in it - I love sacasm and chandler is brilliant in this one -

Joey - "If anyone should get the tickets it should be me. This whole thing was my idea"
Chandler - "oh yes, thanks for inventing the lottery!"

LOL!

I also like TOW the videotape - where Ross and Rachel are agruing about who came onto who when they had sex and concieved Emma and Ross shouts "I can prove it, I have it on videotape" LOL! I love the way the whole story comes together with the fake names and the backpacking story to get people in to bed! Very clever!

There are so many brilliant episodes! I love it!

Can any of you remind me of the dialogue when Ross and Rachel split and she shouts down the hall after him something like "it does matter", and Chandler says "I knew it!!"

I can never remember what is said in the scene but it has me in stitches every time.

One of my huge favs is the blackout episode in the first series!
I love it when Chandler is stuck in the ATM vestibule with Julie Goodacre and he tries to tell Monica over the phone in a really silly voice. She can't understand him but the as soon as Joey comes on the phone he gets it instantly. makes me laugh so much everytime!
For soppiness I like Phoebe marrying Mike as it is a real departure from what she is usually like!
Can anyone remember what name she wanted to have when she could change her name to anything after the wedding... something about banana hammock??? That was a funny episode too!!

Ah, I don't like the wedding ones. And I don't much like most of the stuff to do with Phoebe, to be honest.

Another favourite moment: "Retract the device! Retract the device!"

"Imagine a protective porn bubble, if you will."

Ross going into official mode and pointing with his pen at the burnt doll's house: "We believe the fire started here, in the aroma room". "No - don't look under there!"

Does anyone else agree, though, that it went spectacularly off the boil in the later seasons?

My favourite characters overall: Frank Jr, and Rachel's sister Amy - the latter is an amazing portrayal of self-absorption and airheadedness. As well as being hilarious.

Friends is such a brilliant comedy (as we can all agree!), but i think it is also brilliant at making the fans teary at certain episodes, such as:-

1. The one where ross and rachael break up.
2. The one whre Chandler proposes to Monica.
3. Phoebe & Mike's wedding - her vows.
4. The last one.

Such fantastic writers.

Either Ross and the leather trousers or Ross with the white teeth !!! I also love the one when they do the quiz for who gets the apartment. Sorry that i couldnt just choose one !
