Any one knows what the American cop series was called that was on in the 70s which featured 2 crimebusters, one was a part Robot! He had a control panel in his chest.

we never had that over here (LANCASHIRE), but John Schuck was in M.A.S.H. I recall

John Schuck played Painless the dentist in M*A*S*H the film but I don't think he was in the TV series.
