Teenage Pregnancy

Ok is it just me or has every soap got some teenage pregnancy in? Stacie in Eastenders, Jasmine in emmerdale, Amy in hollyoaks, Sky in neighbours. So I was trying to think of past ones in corrie, obviously Rosie will be next but has there been any in the past?

Can�t think of who you�re on about but Zoe Slater in Eastenders was wasn�t she. Then years ago in Hollyoaks Maxs sis, miserable spoilt thing cant remember her name., was it Cindy? Its just that these are happening at once. And yer know what you mean about Hollyoaks, poor Amy.

Yep, Cindy was in Holloyoaks - that was the first teen pregnancy story i remember.

What about Sharon in Stenders? I'm a bit too young to remember it but wasn't she a teenager?

oooh found this after googling it !...

It was at this arcade that Judy had a fateful meeting with down-and-out Zoe Tattershall. Zoe fell pregnant, while Judy had been told she herself could not have children because of an abortion at the age of 16; so she and Gary agreed to buy Zoe's baby Shannon (whom they renamed Katie), the money for which Judy obtained by sleeping with her boss at the arcade. When Gary found out about this, he left. He and Judy were reunited when Judy announced she was pregnant - with twins. Shannon eventually went back to live with Zoe, but the good news of Judy's pregnancy was overshadowed by the death of baby Shannon from meningitis.

We have all forgotten the orginal teen pregnancy.......... Michelle Fowler!!!

But have you noticed how when teenage pregnancy was first done on each of these soaps they wrote it in a way that they hid the problem, eg, Michelle Fowler hid her pregnancy, Cindy Cunningham hid hers, Sarah Louise Platt hid hers. But now we are moving with the times and abortions are discussed etc.

But Sarah Lou didn't know she was pregnant, and I was only 5 when Michelle Fowler was pregnant so I do't know what happened there. And Cindy had left it too late. I remember her throwing herself down the staris in a bid to miscarry though.
