Strange "advert"

On during an ad break..and theres 2 of them seperated by a "proper" advert. Cant see any product being advertised in it yet...so maybe its a set of teasers Stars 2 guys (looking like Starsky and Hutch) in a convertible, the passenger is making humming / tapping, and the driver says he can hear a strange noise. he stops and the passenger gets out to open the bonnet...when the driver honks the horn 2nd one is them with a hitchhiker, and both of the main guys thinking the other one has allowed the guy to ride in the back Please tell me someone else has seen these, and im not going crazier!! I could not understand it either, but my Husband said it is just one of those strange things they put on to pass the time on TV in between adverts.
Ther are actually three of them altogether.
Silly as it is not an advert.

yeah, its guy (dark hair) and mac (ginger) and its either new series on channel 4 or the fact that the dvd of series 2 is out now.

You're not crazy! It is Mac (Julian Rhind Tutt) and Guy (Stephen Mangan) advertising the new Barclay's credit card! I think it's wicked they are both so funny!
