Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

hi, Jude, just thought I'd better explain that clip to you - it's from a feature film called Downfall, about the last days of Hitler. It's quite common on YouTube for people to take that particular scene and add subtitles to make it look like something else - for instance there's one on which Hitler blows his top because his staff have booked him on Ryanair instead of Lufthansa.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. I should have included a language warning.
evening each and every...yes it's hard having my son & family so far away but it's not a journey I'd want to do, especially with these heads. It would probably burst before I got there and the thought of all that time on a plane gives me the heebie jeebies. When my son went out on his own he spent the England to Dubai flight with an empty seat next to him...but the next leg to Oz was with a rather less than fragrant passenger :o(

I'm glad you survived the dentist neti, hope you're pain free from now on, but it's such a shame for your bro-in-law and a strain on your sister. Hope they get some help.

No shaney, not a boxed set, but when you search for one they come up as a 'you may also like'...there's Taste of Honey, Kind of Loving, Up the Junction and Cathy Come Home.
I didn't see Poirot, I went to bed, I expect they'll repeat it.

Another headachey day but not quite as severe as yesterday so hopefully it'll be burned out by tomorrow.

Robi, I have just read in a mag about a woman who had a headache for 34 yrs and then a surgeon botoxed her frown muscles and relieved it so she had surgery to cut her frown muscles and she is headache free now. Mind you she can't frown but can raise her eyebrows, oh and it cost £3,000. We could have a whip round!
I hope you soon feel better Robinia ..Thanks for the info ..I had a browse and there are loads of these films that I would like. I see they've got Poor Cow and Saturday Night and Sunday Morning ..great .
I'm going to watch Little Women shortly with Susan Sarondon and then give Great Expectations a whirl .Ray Winstone is Magwitch .

Just waiting for spuds to cook ...more cold meat ...lol....
Shaney Great Expectations has had good reviews so I'm going to give it a whirl myself.
Jno I wasn't offended by you honestly it was just a bit of a surprise. Don't worry about it it's forgotten now.
I don't know how anybody copes with migraine. It must be awful. I have a relation who knows when it's coming and has to go and lie down in the dark.
Still haven't done that cupboard. My sis rang just as I was starting and asked if I wanted to walk so we went for and hour and half round the 'castle' and on the way home she spotted a sloe bush loaded with fruit and she filled her glove with them and said whe was going to make some gin. She says II have to wait til next Christmas to taste it :o)
I'm now going to make a cuppa tea....enjoy your evening all.
hello all just popping in, very tired today for some reason.
will catch up tomorrow

I love all those old films from the 60's. A Kind of Loving with Alan Bates, was super. I re-watch them time and time again, sort of all cosy !
I'm not surprised you're tired woofy, you've been busy lately...have a good rest.

neti I wear a permanent frown :o).

Do buy Sat Night, Sun Morning shaney then ya can talk like wor I do duck :o). Actually they do quite a posh Nottingham in the film but I've got an original paperback and it's funny reading some of the conversations. You do feel at home when you watch them.

Tarquin's a big forager and makes sloe gin (and jams, chutneys & pickles) Jude. I don't think he waits that long for it but most of it goes to relatives. I knew reading him cookery books at bedtime would pay off :o) I don't like gin but I would if it cured headaches.

Sat night and Sun morning, is the the Albert finney film, oh I love that, so my time! (but not my area!)

Mr N is getting me an iphone tomorrow, not a new one, his friend is selling it, but it'll do me to prance about with!!
Just called in to say goodnight. I enjoyed Great Expectations. Haven't seen any Dickens for ages. Have to watch it tomorrow now.
I'm yawning my head off now. I hope you get a headache free night Robi.
See you all tomottow Nite nite sleep tite x
I've now decided that onions do not like me one bit .
Lots of other things don't like me either these days.
I loaded my salad with spring onions and now I'm bloated out ,have heartburn and people should stand downwind if you get my drift .I think I'll have a couple of Rennies and go to bed clutching a bottle of fizzy water.
Sleep well folks .
Good morning Shaney, I hope the onions are behaving now, I know what you man, I love raw thinly sliced red onion with smoked salmon but it hates me. Its blowing an unforecast hooligan here with horizontal rain. Took dogs out anyway, back to bed now...

Morning all, just back from taking hija to airport as she is meeting novio in BarÇa. Hurray 7 days with a clea and tidy house, exscept that now Mr N is taking the day off so still can't potter.
Hi, will catch up later. Just having breakfast and then going to hairdresser. Yesterday was a total wash out. I was so tired for some reason and slept most of the day. Had a bath at 6.00pm and got ready for bed, even though I had spent 3 hours asleep in the afternoon.

Bye for now.............................
Morning all...bright 'n breezy - the weather that is, definitely not me :o)

Sorry you were suffering shaney, I'm the same with onions. If I make a casserole I only put some in for flavour, not a lot, and I leave it in big pieces so I can pick it out before I eat. I used to love onions fried until they were brown and crispy on the edges too....ooh, I can smell them now. :'(

Well the headache eased but I was left with the after effects. I was desperately trying to crack open a choc orange before Great Expectations started but it was too warm so off I toddled to fetch a knife. Stood there shaking trying to part the segments feeling more and more faint by the second, finally got one & stuffed it in my mouth...things are now going hazy...panicked...staggered to fridge & threw the orange in, I had to preserve it at all costs...and swiftly sat down in the middle of the cool floor with my head down for a bout 15 mins and managed to avoid blacking out. Both I and my orange live to see another day :o)...I've got to laugh...
Anyway I staggered off to bed and watched the remainder of Gr. E's...I'll try to do better with the next episode.

Hope the rest of you are staying upright.
I must do some washing, rest of the week's going to be wet.
KBO
sounds like you've got this, Robinia

Robinia whatever is the matter with you, that's sounds so frightening.

I have started with a dold, and feel cold and miserable.

Got iphone but it's taking ages to charge up, bet it doesn't work.

Have done 3 loads of washing and it's gonna rain :0(
Oh doh deti...dot a cowd...hope it's short lived. I've got washing out, it's flapping lovely.
If you google migraines some sites give all the exact symptoms I go through, pain in arms and legs as well as the head, nausea, craving salt...but I will see if they'll look into things a bit further, just to be sure.

Not sure about choc fever but I'm developing sales fever today...I saw this cardi before xmas, it's really nice...decisions....??

Very nice cardi, Robi, but what a price!!

I was walking through my very deserted village this am an dlo and behold, there was the identical faux leather Primark jacket walking towards me in same colour! I ask you! Don't think iphone is any good :o(
I really like waterfalls, just bought this one http://www.cottontrad...10324/&bklist=icat,2,
and I have a grey thicker one but its only acrylic and quite saggy, don't think it will last long.
That one you like looks expensive but lovely and the wool, alpaca acrylic nylon mix should hold its shape. Slept super well last night but not long enough, went out this morning for coffee and took the dogs for a ride then today the dog cage came so e put iy together and fitted it in the car then went out for a quick drive round with the dogs so they had been in it before tomorrow morning. All went well and the dogs are now exhausted!
Robi they should invent the Star Trek matter transporter then we could go anywhere instantly.
Neti your BiL is still in my thoughts and prayers.
It might not be the iPhone that is knocked but the charger, sometimes the cable breaks near to either end where the socket is moulded on, worth checking.
