Anyone know if this reality show will be back on Ch 5? I know I'm sad, but cannot get BBC or ITV so have to rely on Ch 5, and I do get so engrossed and enraged, really get carried away with it all.

I got beautiful loccitane violet scented shower gel from middle sis for christmas, I love it.
Happy Boxing Day all. I'm pleased you all had a lovely day yesterday.
I did too. I was up at 7 in my dressing gown. A first for a long time, usually straight into the shower. Land line and mobile started at 7.20. 15 calls and texts altogether.Phew! Had some lovely presents including 2 bottles of Irish Cream! You know don't you? Went for a walk up the country road near where I live for an hour and then came back for my lunch Usual Sunday Salmon and then for afters I treated myself to a hot mince pie and Haargendas (spelling rubbish - sorry) ice cream covered with Baileys.
I was asked to go for my dinner at my nephews but I went after eating and stayed til midnight. 27 of us, ages ranging from 6 to the matriarch who is in her 80s. I had a go on dancing on a Wii with my sister. We played a couples of games not seriously, more like cheating and laughing. The girls won of course. Today I'm off to the match Derby play Leeds so looking forward to that. K.O. at 1. Then I think I'll go to bed. I'm 'cream crackered' already, inless something takes my eye on the telly.

Have a good day all of you...later 'gater(s) x
had a real English Christmas, my first really, turkey and all trimmings, some great wine as it was provided by the Graped Crusader, who is a family member

http://www.thegrapedcrusader.co.uk/

blimey, he's already blogged about one of yesterday's wines.

There was talk of going paintballing or playing monopoly which fortunately came to nothing and we watched Johnny Depp in The Tourist instead which was very entertaining.
Hello Biddies,

Lovely to read all your accounts of Christmas.

We had a lovely time with son and GF. I had bought him a set of combat remote control helicopters for Christmas and so he reverted to age 10 and he and GF were in fits of giggles flying helicopters all over the house (with associated crashes) and cat and dog not knowing whether to join in or flee!!

Chinese nibbles and sparkling wine with Clementine juice for lunch, nibbles, drinks and chocolates all afternoon and a late dinner (9.00pm) of delicious rib of beef, yorkshire pud, etc, followed by lemon tart and cream. More drinks and some tele. watching and then bed for the others at midnight. I then made some bread and loaded dishwasher (and found the cooked sprouts in one of the saucepans!!) No-one had noticed the lack of sprouts with their dinner!!

Son and GF have now gone home and Mr LL has gone out with Meggie - the chocolates look tempting, but I am now thinking of jno's link and wondering whether or not to start on them!!!!

Love you all

xxxx
jno, we used to have a wine expert and importer in the family jno and had a spare room stacked up with bottles. However, he and the family member split up - so no more freebies :o(
that's a shame, Lottie. I shall have to make sure jno jnr stays with his girlfriend.

This was the dessert wine he provided

http://innocentbystan..._spec.php?id_PROD=264

Very odd because it was fizzy (naturally so) and in a bottle with a cap so you might mistake it for Fanta in a dim light, but it tasted delish.

I thought it was very kind of them to print a black bar over the face of the woman in that link so nobody will recognise her.
Jno that picture is awful .. .It's put me right off my box of Thorntons :)
Happy Boxing Day folks .
Quite bright here and very mild for the time of year.
Quiet day for us today ,no fancy grub ,just left overs ( bubble) cold meat ,salad perhaps .
I may crack open some more chs and grapes though :)
We also have some wine ,but I'm not really a little 'ol wine drinker .Mr S had a very nice bottle of whisky for Christmas but he seems to have hidden it .
I wonder why :)
