I love the magical things, Christmas lights switch on, Christmas markets, buying those special gifts for people to let them know how you feel about them.
Last minute christmas shopping when the shops are all done up and there's christmas music and carol singers and such. I tend to end up sorting most of the Christmas shopping for people from other people so always loads to do.
It's a great time for getting together with people who don't see that often, it's the only time in the year I see any of my family except my mother. Can't wait to see my little cousins and how much they've grown. I love Christmas dos, going out with work people you wouldn't normally and it always tends to bond people and having christmas meals with my different groups of friends and ex workmates and such.
I also get to catch up with old friends from where I come from and make an effort to get back to past places I've lived to see friends from there.
Yeah there are crap bits, referreeing and acting as a go-between between parents and such but it's what you make of it.
