Best on EastEnders

In your opinion, who is or was the best ever actor on EastEnders?

I always favour Ross Kemp who played Grant Mitchell. Some of the scenes between him and Sharon were electrifying. The best scene was the one where he found out about Sharon and Phil, and although, he was pretty much a one-dimensional character, he showed his softer side when Tiffany had his baby. He was a true to form East End hardman who had some fanatastic scripts and has gone on to do some good drama work for ITV. His brother in the series Phil, played by Steve McFadden, has got a lot better recently, and was superb as an alcoholic. He was particularly nasty to Lisa and has been one of the series' consistently good characters.

Without a doubt, Ian Lavender. Ok, so he only appeared in a few episodes but well worth a mention.
