As far as i'm aware Las Vegas and surrounding areas of Nevada are currently (and always were) owned by a religious group (bizarrely) - the mormons i think

Are you not confusing Nevada with Utah Darth, having been to both I'm not sure the mormons would let the sort of behaviour that goes in in Las Vegas occur on their land
