Simon has talent and actually knows what he is talking about. He is honest, albeit a little brutal at times, and doesn't suffer fools gladly.

Jade has no talent bar the ability to walk and breathe at the same time. She was not constructive in her "criticism", she was offensive and aggressive.

Simon Cowell is a self-made multi-millionaire businessman who happens to have a high profile purely because he operates in a highly visible industry.

There are people like him in every industry. His "offensive and obnoxious" comments are aimed mainly at people who obviously possess no musical talent and have attended the show for the attention.

Cowell makes money by sourcing talent, packaging it and selling it under a brand name. Businesses like his survive by giving people what they want.

It's a sad indicator of the state of this country when someone as fat, ugly and utterly devoid of any talent becomes a multimillionaire in under years.

(Ok Princess Diana was devoid of talent, but at least she had charm....)

I have never supported Jade I dont like Jade,I just sympathise with the way she was brought up no matter what she has always stuck by her mother as bad has she treated her when she was a child,her father was a druggie,and died of an overdose,and to come out of this and make the life she has now for her and her children i have to admire her
